What is AS9100?

If you’ve worked in the commercial and automotive manufacturing industries you may be familiar with the International Organization for Standards or, ISO .  AS9100 is a similar quality standard for the Aerospace industry.  This certification is managed by the International Aerospace Quality Group.  AS9100 has evolved out of the serious need for creating and upholding standards and traceability for safety and reliability in the global aerospace market.  Aerospace companies globally are required to uphold this responsibility as they process, manufacture and assemble aerospace products.
