Kamatics, a subsidiary of Kaman Corporation, was founded in 1966 to address the growing market for helicopter production. They are best known as the inventor and innovator of the self-lube bearing lining systems KAron and KAtherm. These specialty solutions are for high load, low wear, low friction applications. Kamatics has over 50 years of experience serving North America and Europe, primarily concentrating on self-lubricated bearings for aerospace applications such as turbine engines, aircraft flight controls, and landing gear. In recent years, the Kaman group has acquired RWG Frankenjura and GRW, significantly strengthening their foothold in the European civil and military sector.
